I agree with David Hockney. I studied the paintings he talked about and noted that
the left hand was dominant which would be have been a problem during this time
period. I do not think that the paintings have less value. The discoveries made by using
this form of technology led mathematicians and scientists to work with artists
to show three dimensional objects on two dimensional surfaces.

I agree that the Renaissance artists used Camera Obscura and that it does not lessen the value of their art. My question is photography less of an art?
